BioThis is just a fictional journal. Train as a character is property of Yabuki Kentaro. The anime version the mun is writing as is property of GONZO, GDH, Denstu Inc., and FUNimation Entertainment. No profits are being made whatsoever. The writer's just having fun writing as her own interpretation of this character. (Warning! Contains some anime spoilers!)

Train was once a bitter and ruthless eraser (assassin) for an organization known as Chronos, whose mission statement is to keep things peaceful in the world. For the price in being Chronos, there was little to no freedom. Under their standards, you either had to live by completing each mission given to you, or die. To them, to be powerful and live freely would cause chaos. Chronos had found Train off the streets and gave him the nickname "Black Cat."
Train didn't question his position in Chronos until one night on the rooftops, soon after meeting a lady sweeper (bounty hunter) in a kimono named Saya Minatsuki. It was through her in which he learned compassion and was inspired to live freely.
His last mission was to go after a young girl who was genetically engineered to be the most fearsome bio-weapon (Eve). After not completing the mission twice, he told the chairmen and head captain of the Chronos numbers that he intended to leave.
His partner in Chronos, Creed Diskence, was not pleased by this change in Train, and killed Saya. Train afterwards left the Chronos in order to be an independent sweeper in the memory of Saya, and later on joined with Sven Vollfied as his partner. Eve had been tagging along with them ever since.
He seems to enjoy tormenting Sven and tightening their already small budget as low-paid sweepers, as it is shown for example, by his exaggerated food consumption. As for Eve, he little more than tolerates her. They tend to rival one another from time to time, and Train came up with the nickname "Princess" for her.
Some of Train's distinguishing features are his spikey brown ruffled hair that's always got a shine to it, his yellow catlike slitted eyes, a red choker with a tiny bell attached to it, and the black XIII tattoo he has on his chest; the number thirteen symbolizing bad luck.
Train got the choker from Eve, a week after the night of Saya's murder. He put it on due to Eve's persistence from a lesson in a fable--if you put a bell around the neck of a bad cat, you'll always know where he is. Train's choker is that of a reminder of how bad he once was. He and Eve at least tolerate each other, but due to their history with each other from before, they're not exactly good friends. In his own belief on the choker, it's conviction that the only one who can tame him is himself.
Train's sole weapon of choice is a decorated revolver known as Hades, a gift he received by the captain of the Chronos numbers when he first became affiliated with them. Engraved on the side is the numeral XIII, in which matches the tattoo on his chest.
His skills are top notch and on the supernatural level when it comes to gun-fighting. He runs twice as fast as the average human sprinter (you run two steps, he runs five). He is also skilled in disguises, and is able to sleep anywhere. His eye sight is six times better than normal eye sight.
His personality is different now from who he used to be--more light-hearted and courageous. That previous attitude he once had shed off once he first decided to leave Chronos. And, he also expresses some cat-like traits. His love for milk and hanging out on the roofs of buildings are just a few examples. Train acts straightforwardly, never compromising his own beliefs.
